Implementation of Dynamic Load Balancing Algorithms: A Survey
Cloud computing plays an important role in present day scenario. Many organizations are dependent on cloud services as infrastructure as a service as well as security as a service. The challenges of cloud computing are mentioned. The use of load balancing makes the server work efficiently and performs well to provide the best service to the customers of cloud computing. The concept of load balancing is performed by using two types of techniques, one is static and the other one is dynamic load balancing. In this paper, the dynamic load balancing techniques, their aims and objectives are discussed here. In this paper three dynamic load balancing algorithms namely Honeybee Foraging Algorithm, Ant Colony Optimization algorithm and Throttled load balancing algorithm are mainly considered. The review of various papers for these three algorithms are discussed and showed with the advantages and challenges. Performance evaluation is carried out using Cloud Analyst simulator and the results are compared with chart and graphs. The future aspects of dynamic load balancing are mentioned in this paper.
