Ubiquitous computing represents a paradigm shift by embedding computational intelligence into everyday environments, facilitating seamless, context-sensitive interactions. A notable accomplishment in this area is the combination of location and activity sensing technology, which allows for the creation of intelligent, flexible services that react to user context in real-time. Systems can identify patterns in space and behavior to provide real-time, personalized services by utilizing wearable technology, GPS, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and RFID. Effective healthcare, intelligent transportation, ambient assisted living, and context-aware retail settings are just a few fields in which applications are found. The technological foundations, system designs, and important enabling frameworks that facilitate this kind of integration are examined in this study. It also explores potential future approaches in edge computing, federated learning, and AI-driven context modeling while addressing critical issues like data privacy, energy efficiency, sensor fusion, and scalability.
