Abstract
The study's focus on Generation Z's perspectives on digital space safety in Malaysia and Indonesia, particularly in relation to cybersecurity and cybercrime programs. The study aims to identify knowledge, attitude, and practice patterns, as well as technology acceptance of Generation Z, while examining the interrelationships between these factors. The research methodology involves quantitative methods, 350 valid data points were collected using online surveys, and SmartPLS was used for data analysis. Our results show that knowledge and attitude significantly increase practice on internet usage, and knowledge significantly increases attitude towards internet usage. In addition, our research results show that branding moderates the relationship between knowledge and practice towards internet usage, while innovativeness not supported moderates the relationship between knowledge and attitude towards internet usage. Meanwhile attitude mediates the relationship between knowledge and practice towards internet usage. The study's findings have implications for the development of effective cybersecurity education programs and interventions tailored to Generation Z in Malaysia and Indonesia.
