Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the challenges faced in managing storage systems in multi-cloud environments and to propose a solution that enhances network efficiency and security. The proposed solution involves the use of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Hardware Data Network (HDN) architecture. The SDN paradigm is still in an early stage of development, and there are various challenges that need to be addressed for full automatization and effortless management. The massive data collected by sensors are stored in the cloud storage server also the cloud vulnerability directly threatens the security and reliability of the multi-cloud networks. To ensure data integrity and availability in the cloud and multiple cloud network storage system, users need to verify the integrity of remote data. The network is organized into clusters, and every node reaches the network synchronization time using its own Clock Time Period (CTP). The experiment using MATLAB R20a showed that the proposed Hybrid Adaptive Algorithm (HAA) is more efficient compared to the Average Time Synchronization with Pair-Wise Messages (ATSP) in terms of accuracy, communication overhead, and computation over SDN and HDN networks. In summary, the research shows that the proposed solution is a potential approach for enhancing the efficiency and security of multi-cloud storage systems. Further research should be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of this solution in real-world scenarios.
